Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak
Located on the eastern end side of Jeju Island, there is a huge crater called Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. The crater is about 600 m in diameter and 90 m high. With 99 sharped like rocks surrounding the Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, it seems like a gigantic crown. While the southeast and north sides are cliffs, the northwest side is such grassy hill that connects the visitors to the Seongsan Village directly. The ridge provides such great spot for you and your family to walk or perhaps horse riding too. Another great idea to enjoy your time here is to look at the sunrise from the crater that is magnificent. The Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak is surrounded by yellow colored rapeseed flowers in the spring that is truly a sight to memorize.
So, how you will get there? There are some directions that allow you to access Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak easily.
Direction number 1. You can take the bus from Jeju Intercity Bus Terminal. You can take a direct bus (Dongilju bus bound for Seongsan) and get off at the Seongsalliipgu bus stop. It takes about 2 hours time to reach the location.
