Jusangjeolli Cliffs

Traveling to South Korea will not be completed without visiting Jusangjeolli Cliffs. The Jusangjeolli Cliffs offer more than only Natural interest. They offer a view that will hold your breath and stun your eyes. They are stretched along the southern coast of Jejudo Island. You and your beloved family can have a seriously fun time by looking at the incredible sight of this area. Jusangjeolli Cliffs was created between 250,000 and 140,000 years ago.

The Jusangjeolli Cliffs come with great hexagonal columns. Locals call it as “Jisatgae Rocks”. The high is about 20 meters into the sky. Jusangjeolli Cliffs run for 2 km along the Daepo coast nearby Jungmun tourist complex. That is the strategic place to spend your leisure time with family since the tourists needs are there.

What stuns me about the “Jisatgae Rocks” is that the formation is perfectly hexagonal for the most part. It seems like a handmade masterpiece.

Other attraction that you must not miss is the park surrounding the Jusangjeolli Cliffs. The majority of the park is solitary and well maintained. You can see the beautiful park just from far away and I am sure you want to get closer and closer. It is full of beautiful flowers, tall grass and palms trees. Along the path, you will find mini traditional markets selling fresh and raw fishes.
