Dam Square – Amsterdam Tour

The Damrak from Central Station is perhaps your first destination of Amsterdam Tour. When you walk just 5 minutes from it, you will see the Dam Square that is crowded by locals and tourists day and night. This fascinating Dam Square was created in the 13th centrury when a dam was built around the Amstel river to prevent the Zuiderzee sea from swarming the city. During the 60s, the suqre was renowned and it opens no for the public. I would like to recommend this place to you since it will give you a lot of incredible experience.

Some focal points that I would like to highlight are the restaurants, shops, food vendors, and some branded shops like Bijenkorf, Magna Plaza, Bonneterie, and the Amsterdam Diamon center. Some of popular food stalls offer you the dishes that you will never find in other place. However, you and your family might even have to wait for a seat at one of the many cafes and bars. All seasons, there are always entertainments in Dam Square. In spring, you can see intriguing carnival or perhaps Ferris Wheel. In the summer season, mimers and other street entertainers come out to amuse the visitors.

I am totally sure that all of the attractions in Dam Square is quite literally the jewel in the crown. Every side and piece of this place is worthy.

Other but not less important place to see in Dam Square is Madame Tussauds, the world famous wax works museum. There is also New Church that is often used for art exhibitions and Beurs van Berlage, an old Stock Exchange building that has been used as the concert hall.
