Royal Palace – Amsterdam Tour

Royal Palace is located on the Dam Square in the center of Amsterdam. It was supposedly built as the city hall for the magistrates of this city. It was the largest building of Europe in the 17th century.

Act of Parliament has placed the Queen’s disposal in the Royal Palace. That means it is one of the three Palaces that get the same opportunity. Royal Palace is used for Royal Events during their visits in the Netherland.

It seems like it is limited for royal society. But it is not true. Royal Palace has been opened to the public for most of the year. Only on days of Royal Events, tourists are not allowed to enter the Royal Palace. So if you want to visit the Royal Palace, make sure that you consult the Palace’s website and their calendar to see the days when the Royal Palace is open for the public.

Since the building is very big, it is possible that you will aimlessly go there. With grabbing about €60 from your pocked, the qualified art historian will guide through the chambers of the €60. The usual admission price is also required. However, the guide must be booked in advance. And it is possible for you to reserve through the Royal Palace website.

You can also hear a free audio tour that is provided in certain languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Dutch.
