If you think that visiting Elephant Trunk Hill is enough for your vacation in Guilin, you will regret this. I have another information that you must consider. About 2 km from Elephant Trunk Hill, there towers Wave-Subduing Hill (Fubo Hill), another Guilin’s wonderful scenic view. The tower reach the height of 213 meters and emerges 62 meters above the water. Hall of the body stands in the river and the other half is on the land. This hill is considered to have power of subduing waves. Besides, there is a commemoration temple of General Fubo that was built in the Tang Dynasty. And that’s why it is named as Fubo Hill.
So, what are there? First thing that I would like to recommend is that the natural scenery of stalactites and rocks will catch your eyes. The artificial cloister and pavilions combine the fantastic sight of the hill. So, what are you waiting for? Prepare everything and fly to Guilin!
