Yuanjiajie Scenic Area is located in the north part of Zhangjiajie Forest Park in Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, China. It opens at 8.00-17.30. Now I am going to talk about its landscape.
Yuanjiajie Scenic Area has long been known as one of the most important tourists destinations in Zhangjiajie Forest Park. It becomes more popular since the Hollywood blockbuster movie entitled “Avatar” used this location as the setting. What makes it interesting is that the peaks and the pillars there are nearly at the same height. It makes the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area are great to enjoy by all human eyes. I am sure that you will be amazed with the glamorous area.
The Yuanjiajie Scenic Area can be accessed by 2 different ways from foot of mountains. First, you can take a walk through the Luancuan Slop from Golden Whip Stream to Back Garden of Yuanjiajie, which take you some hours to reach there. Other and faster way is by taking the Bailong elevator, the no.1 elevator in the world. And then you can be trekking through the Baizhang Valley. Fields and Gardens will welcome you in the air once you reach the mountain top. If you do not really like to bring your foot to uncomforting zone, do not worry. There is mountain trail that welcomes you to walk around the area. The vistas can be enjoyed with your valuable time and place.
Major highlights that I would like to let you know are Hanging Waterfall, Mihun Bridge, Tujia Village, Natural Bridge under Heaven, Fields and Gardens in the Air, and also Bailong Lift.
