What to Do in Jeju Island

You probably have a plan to go to South Korea this summer. If you are looking for warmer climate for your vacation, Jeju Island in Korea is the best solution for you. Jeju Island is a small island with warm climate and beautiful views. Your eyes will be caught by the beautiful white sandy beaches and waterfalls splash into rivers and sea at one point. Jeju Island is an UNESCO World Heritage Site, meaning that it is one of wonders in the world. Reasonably, you will regret if you miss your opportunity to spend your leisure time in Jeju Island.

Many of the activities you can do in Jeju Island. If you are up to outdoors activities, you can try hiking, walking, watersports like swimming, snorkeling, wind surfing and diving. Jeju Island is also called as the South Korea’s main diving center, attracting million international divers in the world annually.

Here I want to share you a bit information about how you will spend your time Jeju Island with your family.

Visiting a waterfall can be the first itinerary at your days to go to Jeju Island. It is magical when you can find some fascinating waterfalls right in the city of Soegwipo. It is my best recommendation to go there. You could visit more than one but the Jeongbang Waterfall is too unique to be missed. This waterfall comprises high of 23 meters. Not far from city, you can enjoy your pleasant time with your family here.

Second great idea need to jot down is visiting a beach. Walking to the beaches is a wise idea to spend your valuable time in Jeju Island. Now thinking that there are some beaches in Jeju Island, you need a good reference so you won’t waste your money. It is the Jungman Beach. This is the main tourist area for about 2 km from Seogwipo city. This place is very strategic since it promotes some large hotels with many lovely views over the beach and sea. The white sand and the gazebos are two things that will enhance your tour. There are also rafting, waterskiing, and parasailing.

Next thing to do you can experience many beautiful coastal spots or waterholes. You have no beaches but surely you will be interested in swimming in cool crystal clear water. Oedolgae is a great spot. It is down a coastal cliff path to an area of sea, pools, and rocks. It is very good place for snorkeling.

So, perhaps that’s it. Well, you can sit for a while and think about your plan for the next vacation. Ciao!
